Shuttle Bus Tracking

The shuttles are fitted with GPS trackers that allow you to see their location on the map. You will have to click on the "Shuttle Bus Tracker" and log in to see their location. The map is near real time, but there is a time delay in the locations displayed. The buses that are displayed as a green arrow are in motion.

General Shuttle Bus Information

  • Buses only run Monday - Friday while classes are in session
  • All buses have mobility lifts
  • Bike racks will not accommodate electric bikes due to their weight
  • Weather and traffic can affect shuttle routes
  • Buses are now fitted with GPS trackers so that you can see their location on the campus map
  • There are two shuttle routes
    • The Main Campus route provides service from the Eagle Rock stop across campus to University Hall
    • The Cyber Security route provides service between the main campus and the CYBR building located at 3650 N. Academy Ave.
  • Free parking is available in Lot 540, Lot 571 and 572 (near the Eagle Rock stop), and Lot 576
  • There is no shuttle service provided to UCCS Downtown Campus, Heller Center for the Arts and Humanities, or Lot 580

Shuttle service during Delayed starts and Early Closures

Shuttles will start providing service on the main campus 30 - 45 minutes before the campus is scheduled to open. The Cyber Security route will start with the next regularly scheduled departure.

Shuttles will provide service for 30-45 minutes after the campus is scheduled to close. The shuttles will run continuous loops during this time. It is imperative that you start making your way to a shuttle stop as soon as you can after a closure is announced.

Spring 2025 Shuttle Bus Service

Spring shuttle service will begin on Tuesday January 21st, and will end on May 16th. There will not be any shuttle service during Spring break from March 24th - March 28th. Shuttle service to the UCCS Cyber Security Center (3650 N. Nevada Ave.) will be provided - please see below for more details.

The first bus each day will depart from the Eagle Rock stop at 6:40am and head across campus. 

  • Departures
    • From 7:05am to 5:30pm, the buses will depart approximately every 10-12 minutes

    • After 5:30pm the service is approximately every 15-20 minutes

       

  • The last departure of each day are:
    • University Hall at 10:08pm

    • Centennial Hall at 10:20pm

  • Shuttles depart from the Centennial East shuttle stop and go directly to the CYBR building
  • Shuttles depart the CYBR building and go directly to the Eagle Rock shuttle stop where they resume the main campus route
  • Classes located on Main Campus and CYBE should not be scheduled back-to-back due to the travel time between the two location
  • The 4:10PM departure time from Centennial Hall is due to the additional traffic that is encountered on Nevada Ave
