Retired Employees

Employees who retire with a minimum of 15 continuous years of employment at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs are eligible to receive a complimentary VIP parking permit every year for life. The retiree VIP permit will automatically be issued each year (mid-August).  It is the responsibility of the retiree to notify UCCS Parking Services of any vehicles additions or deletions they would like to make to their VIP permit.

This VIP permit allows the retiree to park in Orange, Yellow & Blue (100-300 series) lots as well as the Gateway Garage, Levels 1, 2, 4, and 5 and the Alpine Garage and Field, Level 1 visitor parking area ONLY.

The VIP permit may not be used to park in resident parking, reserved parking spaces, fire lanes, time-specific parking spaces, or handicapped parking (unless accompanied by a handicapped permit).  The VIP permit may only be used by the VIP retiree themselves.

Eligible retirees who continue to be employed by UCCS after retirement MUST pay for their VIP permit for the semesters they work, but will be given the opportunity to pay at a reduced rate.
