Z Permits

Z Permits & Z Spaces

We offer special Z Permits to assist current students and employees with temporary injuries and/or other medical conditions that impair mobility (i.e. a broken leg, major surgery, pregnancy, etc.). A Z Permit will allow you to park in designated 'Z Spaces' throughout campus parking lots.

These Z Spaces are for conditions that do not need full ADA accessible parking accommodations.  Z Spaces are usually in the front row of a parking lot but please keep in mind that as these are special UCCS permits for temporary injuries, Z Spaces do not meet ADA guidelines.

Z Permit Details
200 - 400 Series Z Permits

To apply for a Z permit (200-400 series lots) you must have a Central Campus permit. Please visit the Permits page to find an appropriate permit and log into the Parking Portal to purchase it.

Once you have a permit to park in the 200-400 series lots, download the Z permit application and submit it to the Parking Office.

Once your Z Permit application has been submitted and approved, you'll be able to park in Z spaces in 200 - 400 series lots.

Lot 200: 2 Z Spaces
Lot 222: 3 Z Spaces
Lot 224: 4 Z Spaces
Lot 228: 2 Z Spaces
Lot 230: 1 Z Space
Lot 327: 1 Z Space (Under Construction)
Lot 434: 3 Z Spaces

Z Permit Details
100 Series Z Permits

To apply for a Z permit (100 series lots) you must have a Border permit. Please visit the Permits page to find an appropriate permit and log into the Parking Portal to purchase it.

Once you have a permit to park in the 100 series lots, download the Z permit application and submit it to the Parking Office.

Once your Z Permit application has been submitted and approved, you'll be able to park in Z spaces in 100 series lots.
