Important Student Parking Information
All UCCS parking lots require a parking permit. The permit should be purchased prior to the first day of each semester in order to avoid citations while parking on campus. There is NO "grace period." There is no longer a need to come to the Parking Office to pick up the physical permit after purchase. Parking permits are now virtual permits, which is your license plate(s). Up to 2 license plates can be registered under one permit. However, only one of these listed vehicles can be parked on campus at the same time. Additionally, motorcycles can be one of your registered vehicles, but they must be parked in dedicated motorcycle parking areas only and may not be parked at the same time as any other vehicle.

500 Series Lots
Free shuttles from the 500 series lots to the main campus are available. Please see our Transportation Page for more information about shuttles When classes aren't in session, such as weekends and certain holidays, shuttles will not be in operation. When shuttles are not in operation, students may park on the main campus without a permit.
All vehicles in the 500 series lots must be registered in the parking portal!
Permit Refunds
Permits may be returned for a full refund anytime on or before the UCCS census date. No refunds will be issued after the UCCS census date; however, you may exchange for a permit of equal or higher value after census date.
The Safety and Transportation fee is refunded only if Admissions and Records refund all other fees. The refund of this fee is done in accordance with the calendar on page 4 of the Schedule of Courses and follows the refund schedule for all tuition and fees.
